A Private Place to Rest in the Middle of Singapore
This is how you rest now.
One uninterrupted, screen-free hour alone. A fully private suite with gentle warmth and soft light — no shared benches, no crowds, no one to talk to unless you want to. O2 Light Bar is at #04-08 The Cathay, 2 Handy Road, in the heart of the city, a two-minute walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT.
Book your quiet hour
Your power nap, upgraded
There is nothing to do here — that's the point. You lie back in your own room while gentle full-spectrum infrared warms you from within. Fifty minutes of pure quiet: many guests close their eyes for the whole session and surface feeling warm, loose and unhurried. The light does the work; you rest.
It's a rest that leaves something behind, too — a deep, dry, effortless sweat arrives while you lie still, and with it the deep relaxation response research links to sauna bathing. Guests tell us they sleep more deeply on sauna nights.
Who comes here to rest
- Desk workers and parents who simply want an hour that belongs to them
- People looking for a quiet, private spot in town to switch off — mid-afternoon or after work
- Light sleepers winding down before an early night
- Anyone recovering from a run, a class or a long week
Entirely private, entirely yours
Six private suites, each a room of its own with towels, sauna wear and water provided. The Serenity Haven suites are the most spacious, with a lie-flat lounger — ideal for a first visit. The O2 Oasis suites add high-concentration oxygen, included in the session. Quiet is not an add-on here; it's the whole design.

Frequently asked questions
Can I just rest or nap — do I have to "do" anything?
Nothing to do. Lie back, close your eyes if you like, and let the warmth work. Many guests treat it exactly like a protected nap slot in the middle of the day.
Is it really private?
Every session is a room entirely your own — not a curtained corner or a shared floor. Door closed, lights soft, at your own pace.
Will it help me sleep better?
Guests tell us they sleep more deeply on sauna nights — the warm, unwound feeling tends to carry into the evening.
Anything I should check first?
If you're pregnant or have high blood pressure or a heart condition, please check with your doctor before booking.
